Mr. U. Gary Charlwood has founded UNIGLOBE Travel International in 1979. Mr. Charlwood is an international speaker, business mentor and an inductee to both the International Franchise Association (IFA) and American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) Halls of Fame. As Founder, Chairman and CEO of the family-owned Charlwood Pacific Group, Mr. Charlwood oversees UNIGLOBE Travel International, CENTURY 21 Canada Real Estate, CENTUM Financial Group and Real Canadian Property Management from his world headquarters in Vancouver, Canada. Mr. Charlwood was the first non-U.S. citizen to hold the position of IFA Chair and was Founding Chair of the ASTA Corporate Advisory Council, which advocates for the Travel Industry.

Martin Charlwood is the UNIGLOBE Travel International Head of Operations, based at UNIGLOBE world headquarters in Vancouver, Canada. Martin is a hands-on business leader with extensive experience in corporate branding, marketing and franchise licensing. As a past franchise owner himself, Martin is familiar with the challenges and opportunities of running a small business, as well as the strategic demands of a global organisation.

In addition to his leading role at UNIGLOBE, Martin is a Director of the Charlwood Pacific Group of companies, which owns the master franchise rights to major brands in real estate, mortgage brokerage and property management in Canada and the Asia-Pacific region.

As the President of UNIGLOBE Travel (British Isles and EMEA), Derek Hearl-Maunder is responsible for growing and developing the British Isles and EMEA Region of UNIGLOBE, as well as creating and implementing its corporate strategy. Mr. Hearl-Maunder works closely with all UNIGLOBE Members and Global Partners, travel suppliers and all other Industry Partners. Mr. Hearl-Maunder has extensive experience in the Travel Industry. His over two decades with UNIGLOBE in a senior management roles; a track record of delivering outstanding results; and topmost customer satisfaction. Mr. Hearl-Maunder has outstanding leadership skills, and a remarkable ability to mentor executives, and agency owners.

Patrick has worked for UNIGLOBE for 5 years and only very recently has been promoted to President for the British Isles Region of UNIGLOBE. Patrick is a family man, also based in the UK and is Dutch by birth, having previously lived in both the Netherlands & South Africa with relatives currently living in Santon. Patrick’s background is very much in travel with much of his career with hotel suppliers until he joined Uniglobe.
